Hello and congratulations on becoming a school leader for 2015!
On Monday 8 December 2014 your school is providing you with the opportunity to learn more about leadership and your role and responsibilities as a Ballarat Grammar leader. There is no template for a great leader. They come in all different shapes and sizes but what all great leaders have in common is confidence in themselves. This confidence comes, in large part, from knowing who they are, what's important to them and their strengths and weaknesses.
I will be running one of the sessions that you attend on 8 December 2014 and I will be talking a little about what makes a great leader but I want to spend much more time that morning working with you to learn more about yourself; the things you like, how you think and feel about things and how you like to interact with your world and the people in it.
To help me do that I'm asking you to complete an online questionnaire called the MMTIC (Murphy Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children.) I know you're not a child but this questionnaire is designed specifically for people who are still at school - or almost finished, like you.
The MMTIC is a simple, multiple choice questionnaire that you can complete online. There is no time limit but it takes most people about 15 minutes to complete. You will need to login using your first and last names and the login and password that Mr Klopak has sent to you in an email. If you don't have the login and password for some reason please contact Mr Klopak as soon as you can.
You will get to see the results from your completed questionnaire on the Leadership Training day.
Please note, there are no right or wrong answers to these questions. It is not a test. Don't think too much about the questions or your answers, just respond according to what seems to be the most appropriate option for you. You will get further instructions on the questionnaire when you log in.
Got your login and password? Then let's go!
