Fun and Useful Questionnaires
The VIA (Values in Action) Character Strengths Questionnaire. This is a free questionnaire (you have to register but they don't send you annoying emails) designed to help you uncover your character strengths. Research tells us that individuals who use their character strengths lead happier, more satisfying lives.
Your Work Values Inventory. This is a simple questionnaire and exercise for identifying your work values - the things that are important to you about your work, whatever it is. It's courtesy of the University of Melbourne's Careers and Employment service. It only takes a few minutes and I found it very helpful. Best if you print it out.
The Morningness-Eveningness Questionnare. Want to know if you're an Early Bird or a Night Owl? This questionnaire has been developed by academic researchers and has been in use since 1976. It's revealing because it shows the range of different types of 'morningness' and 'eveningness' and how we all fit somewhere along the spectrum.
