Not sure what will make you happy when you grow up? Share my journey of career path confusion, discovery tests and tips to uncover the superpower of self awareness.
We each mark a place on a thousand spectra of human difference; our looks, our interests, our abilities, our interests, our values, our biases, our likes, our tastes, our gender, our sexuality. No two of us are alike and that’s a wonderful, fascinating thing.
As part of my series on self awareness, today I've got an exercise for you that will shine a spotlight on your work purpose.
But what is a work purpose? I'm not sure there is a formal definition but this description of a vocation sums it up for me: Vocation: a strong feeling of suitability for a particular career or occupation. It's a job, a profession, a means of making money or a way of life that fits. It fits your interests, your strengths, your lifestyle and your life.
Are you an introvert? Or an extravert? Are you exhausted interacting with others? Or energised? Do you prefer a quiet night in reading? Or a big night out partying? Do you do your best thinking alone, or in a group? Or maybe you're an 'ambivert' - someone who can and does do all of the above?

We've come to the end of this journey together my friends. It's Week Six of the Summer Series 2015 and collectively we have discovered:
- Our strengths
- Our interests
- Our values
- Our achievements, and
- Our goals.
I've collated everything I've learnt like this....
